So here is a great list of some of the TRUE
certified facilities that already exist and have
been certified. I wanted to include this just
because it's actually surprising on how many
different places are already certified.
So here on this list you can see: Cintas, Etsy,
you might be familiar with Hill's Pet Nutrition,
Kellogg, New Belgium, Whole Foods, Walt
Disney World. So clearly this is a great
certification and a lot of people are already
taking advantage of it. And as well if you'd like
to learn more about these projects the TRUE
website has a great listing of all the certified
projects.
So then here's a little bit more about the TRUE
certification itself. The goal is for organizations
and facilities participating in the program to
divert all solid waste from landfill, incineration,
waste-to-energy, and the environment.
